Brandon Bieler – Penn State Fayette (Baseball)

Reasons for choosing Penn State Fayette: “After going to Penn State Fayette, I wanted to go to there because I thought the baseball program was a lot better.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “I’ve been playing baseball my entire life, and I’ve always wanted to go to college to play baseball. Once it happened, it was like a dream come true.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Brandon did a good job when he pitched this season. He was very effective and threw strikes. He was ready when called upon and was always looking to get better.”

Reasons for choosing East Stroudsburg: “I chose East Stroudsburg because of the area, and it was the best cost for me.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “I’ve always wanted to play in college. I’ve played baseball my whole life, and it became a reality when the coaches started reaching out.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “I have known Joey since he was young, and he has always been a student of the game. He works hard and has always excelled at the plate. With his size, in addition to his bat, he should do well at ESU.”

Reasons for choosing Goldey Beacom: “I chose Goldey Beacom because I really liked the coaches and the team.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “Baseball has always been a huge thing in my life, and I set a goal at a young age to play in college, and here we are.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Jackson had a mentally tough year this year due to getting injured. He stayed positive and was a role model for the younger guys. After being a first team all-league pitcher his junior year, he brought his experience to this year’s group leading them in any way he could.”

Garrett Moyer – Widener University (Baseball)

Reasons for choosing Widener: “I ultimately chose Widener because of the coach and the great academic school.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “College baseball was definitely always a goal of mine, and it didn’t become a reality until last summer.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Garrett had tough season due to injury. He did a great job filling in at first when he could. He always battled on the field and was a true competitor. He has great size and should compete to be one of Widener’s better pitchers.”

Reasons for choosing Penn State Harrisburg: “I chose Penn State Harrisburg because I like the campus and the coaching staff.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “College baseball has always been something I wanted to do especially in college, and being able to play baseball for the next four years is really nice.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Kaden is one of the most mature players I have ever coached. He was one of our captains, and his leadership showed throughout the season. He is a good athlete who can do it all while always looking to get better. He will be able to compete at multiple positions in college.”

Krieg Pierce – Juniata College (Baseball)
Major: Biology
Reasons for choosing Juniata: “I chose Juniata because they have a successful pre-med program and because they hired a new coach and they have a great baseball program.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “I started to realize sophomore year I wanted to continue playing baseball in college when coaches started pushing me to start getting my name out there and start emailing college coaches.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Krieg was another player who was plagued by the injury bug with a back injury to start the season. I am sure it was not the way he wanted to start the season, but he was always positive and one of the most liked players on the team. He had great power at the plate. His unique pitching style will give him a chance to compete for a job at Juniata.”

Ethan Warner – West Chester University (Baseball)

Reasons for choosing West Chester: “I chose West Chester because of the baseball program, and it’s also a good academic school.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “I always wanted to play baseball in college. My freshman year I started taking it seriously and putting in the extra work so I could play in college.”
Coach Mike Childs says: “Ethan overcame a lot of challenges over the past three years on varsity and rose up this year, winning our team MVP and batting title. He is a hard worker and a leader on and off the field. I am happy seeing him going to my alma mater West Chester where I know he will do great things.”
