Marissa Sandone – Gwynedd Mercy University (Basketball)
Major: Early Childhood Education
Final list of colleges: Gwynedd Mercy, Cabrini, West Chester, St. Joseph’s
Reasons for choosing Gwynedd Mercy: “I picked Gwynedd because it’s a perfect fit. It’s small, it’s close to home and they have a great program for basketball.”
Favorite high school basketball memory: “My favorite memory was when we made playoffs sophomore year.”
Coach Lynn Carroll says: “Marissa is always one of if not the smallest players on the court, but never plays that way. She's so smart and really understands the game. She's a great on-the-ball defender and does all of the little things - boxes out consistently, plays help defense, sees the floor well. A lot of our opponents really focused on her on defense, and her reputation as a great shooter opened up a lot of opportunities for her teammates this past season. I know how excited Keith Mondillo is to be getting her next year and I'm looking forward to watching her play at the next level.”

Krista Schneider – Ursinus College (Basketball)
Major: Neuroscience
Final list of colleges: Ursinus, Catholic University, Franklin & Marshall
Reasons for choosing Ursinus: “I chose Ursinus because I loved the atmosphere, I loved the coaches and also the team. It also has a nice balance of rigorous academics and athletics.”
Favorite high school sports memory: “My favorite basketball memory would be my senior year season when our team became so close and we became best friends. My favorite lacrosse memory was winning back-to-back championships my sophomore and junior years.”
Coach Lynn Carroll says: “Krista is only going to continue to get better. Her size as a guard is a huge asset, and with her work ethic, she'll continue to improve her game. She really came along as a defender over the last four years and will work as hard as anybody on the court. In addition to her skill set and work ethic, she's extremely coachable and is a positive leader and role model.”
