Morgan D’Amico – Gordon College (Baseball)
Major: Communication Arts
Accomplishments:
2019 All-SOL American Conference second team
2018 All-SOL American Conference third team
Two-time Spartan Athlete of the Month
Multiple Academic Excellence Awards
Part of District 1 4A Championship
Coach Dennis Primavera says: “Morgan was our best hitter consistently for the past two years. He started at first base the last two years and was a mainstay there. He provided a lot of stability to the lineup and the infield. He could also hit for power. I’m not necessarily talking about home runs. He could hit the ball hard. He hit a lot of doubles, a few triples. He has average speed, but he has four of the other skills that are required. He should have a successful college career.”
Kevin Keown – McDaniel College (Baseball)
Major: Accounting/Finance
Accomplishments:
Three-year varsity letter winner
2019 All-SOL American Conference honorable mention
Part of District 1 4A Championship
Coach Dennis Primavera says: “Kevin was a good hitter – he hit five and sometimes three. He also provided stability for the infield. He was our third baseman for two years. He was a very good fielder – he has a great arm that got the attention of a lot of college coaches. For a long period of time, he was our number one reliever because he could throw hard, and he had a good deuce also. He’s going to McDaniel and playing in a really good academic baseball league, the Centennial League, which is called the Little Ivy League. Both Gordon and McDaniel are in rebuilding periods, so both Kevin and Morgan should see some time early.”
