What was the progression that led you to playing basketball at the collegiate level? “Sports have been a part of my life since the age of three. Football was my favorite, but I could not play so I played basketball. I fell in love with it, and it’s been my passion ever since.”
Coach Bill Krewson says: “Jayla is a coach’s player. She understands the game, knows the game, and as a matter fact, she’s almost ready to teach the game at times. She’s a very good conductor of the offense and running the show. She’s a team player and a smart kid. She sees the court, she’s a very good passer, and she finds the open girl.”
