What was the progression that led you to playing soccer at the collegiate level? “I’ve always known that I wanted to pursue soccer after high school. I began seriously thinking about playing at the college level the summer going into my sophomore year of high school. I started the recruiting process towards the end of my sophomore year through creating a recruiting profile with my club team and playing in showcase tournaments for about two years.”
Coach Chuck Gesing says: “The biggest thing with (Karolina) since she’s been a freshman has been her positive attitude. She’s always a coach on the field and understood what needed to be done and how to get it done and was just a positive force. Even when things didn’t go quite right, she always had a positive spin on things. She kept it going and was like a mini coach on the field. She was just fantastic. I loved having her, and we’ll miss her.”
