Reasons for choosing Lycoming: “The first time I ever went up there I really connected with the staff and the coach. They made me feel like I was at 
home, and I really liked it.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in wrestling at the collegiate level? “I think I always knew I wanted to wrestle in college. I didn’t know what level, and then I realized that Lycoming would be the right fit for me.”
Coach Joe Stabilito says: “I actually started coaching Mason when he was in first grade at Hatboro-Horsham Wrestling Club and I was at the high school. He came up through the ranks and joined us here, and it was probably the best thing that ever happened to us because Mason’s always a hardworking kid. He works hard in practice, he listens - never had a problem, and he’s always there every day. He’s a leader and someone the younger kids look up to. We have a lot of respect for him. He has the second best record in program history, and he’s a three-time league champion, a three-time regional qualifier and a four-time district qualifier.”
