Dennis Grabert – Arcadia University (Soccer)
Coach Nick D’Andrea says: “Nick was our all-around leader and captain of our team. He’s actually still part of the program – he comes back all the time to volunteer. He’s just a tremendous kid. He was a leader on and off the field. He ran things like Black & White Night at school, he was on the student council. I played him out of position because I needed him to. He’s probably a natural outside midfielder, center back or left back, but I had him playing center mid because he was that dominant on the field. He was our most skillful, most athletic player. He had great size, speed and strength and was just an all-around unbelievable kid. He’s been training all summer, and he’s got a really good shot to start at Arcadia.”
Billy Hanratty – Albright College (Soccer)
Coach Nick D’Andrea says: “For the last four years, he was the most prolific scorer at William Tennent. This past season he notched 10 goals, which gave him 17 total goals for his career. He was a four-year starter on varsity. He’s joining his brother at Albright, and Albright is getting a gem. I know they lacked in scoring last year, so they’re getting a true goal scorer. Billy was voted first team all-SOL by the coaches, and they thought he was a handful. They had to specifically game plan for Billy. He’s a great kid on and off the field, great grades, great family.”
Brandon Hefele – King’s College (Soccer)
Coach Nick D’Andrea says: “Brandon is a great kid – he was a team leader and a school leader. He’s very popular and a great athlete. He started in goal most of our games until he broke his hand diving at a ball during Senior Night. He also played baseball and was an awesome pitcher, and he’s going to redshirt this year to recover from his injury. We will miss his leadership, fun personality and quality goalkeeping.”
Jared Sebzda – Penn State – Brandywine (Soccer)
Coach Nick D’Andrea says: “Jared was one of our two featured senior goalkeepers. He opened the season as our starting keeper and then missed games because of an injury, but he came back to play the greatest game of his life in his last game as a senior against Holy Ghost Prep. He’s very tall, very agile, very technical keeper. He has about a 6-2 frame, and he has all the qualities you could want in a starting keeper. It was just unfortunate his senior year that he had to battle a rib injury. He’ll play in college – he has the size, the athleticism, the grades. He’s just an all-around good kid, good teammate. I was just disappointed he had to battle injuries. It was one of those things that was unfortunate his senior year, but he’s one of those kids that will easily play at the next level.”
