Kirsten Brasch – Monmouth University (Swimming)
Coach Meghan Forlini says: “Kirsten was a captain, and she was somebody who really led by example. She always did a great job of making sure she was someone who was always working really hard day in and day out to exemplify what she would like her other teammates to be doing as well. Kirsten did a really great job of making sure that people really felt welcomed, and she always did a great job of making sure people felt they had a place on the team and were doing well as a teammate.
“Kirsten swam a lot of freestyle and butterfly. This year she concentrated on freestyle, and she would swim anywhere from 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle, we would get the random 100 fly, and she was always a huge contributor when it came to relays – the 200 free and the 400 free as well.”
