Wissahickon's Black Will Run XC & Track at URI

Lotte Black – University of Rhode Island (Cross Country & Track)

Academic honors:  4.8 GPA weighted (4.0 unweighted), National Honor Society, German Honors Society
Athletic accomplishments:  Cross Country - Advanced to states 2012, 2013, 2014, Captain 2014, four-year varsity scorer. Track – States 2014, four-year varsity scorer

Coach Heidi Butt says:  “Lotte is ready for the challenges of college-level academics, training, and competition.  She has an excellent work ethic, amazing physical ability, and a demeanor that is humble, hilarious, and endearing.  Her coaches, teammates, and competitors will not only respect her, they will genuinely like her.  Lotte's successes while at Wissahickon were the direct result of her efforts and the relationships she forged while here.  Her leadership, intelligence, and grace will be missed, but will serve her well in the future.”
