On Monday, July 14, the annual Suburban One League Golf Outing was held at North Hills Country Club. The outing attracted 80 golfers, and all proceeds raised will be put toward scholarships for SOL athletes.
At the evening’s banquet, former Central Bucks West football coach Mike Pettine Sr. was recognized by the Suburban One League for his accomplishments as well as the positive impact he had on the young men he coached. With Pettine at the helm, the Bucks compiled an overall record of 326-42-4. He led the Bucks to four PIAA State Championships (1991, 1997, 1998, 1999). Pettine is a member of the State Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
