(11-4 halftime)
NP stats:
Jordan Baily 4g, 1a
Kayla Stressman 3g, 1a, 8dcs
Emily Varilla 3g, 2a
Kerry O’Donnell 2g, 8dcs, 2ctos
Riley O’Donnell 2g
Danielle Preston 1g
Kiera Holt 8 saves
We played really well as a team tonight - all over the field. Kiera had some big saves for us. Our defense did a great job communicating. Emily Varilla was instrumental in getting the ball to Kayla and Kerry on the draw. We knew the only way to beat Pennridge, we had to win the draw and try to control the pace of the game. They do a great job with their fast breaks down field, and are really hard to stop. So taking winning so many draw controls was key for us.
And our attack stayed composed and made the most of their scoring opportunities.
Probably one of, if not the best game we played as a whole, all season.
Ps - Jordan Baily scored her 100th point this evening - to make it even more of a special evening. She has been playing great for us all season. She is our quarterback on attack. She leads our team in goals and points this year. Jordan has really come into her own, and has gained confidence with each game she plays. We are Very excited for her, and her accomplishments in just two seasons.

Hats off to North Penn. They dominated us in all phases of the game tonight, on attack, on defense, and especially on the draw controls. You can't score if you don't have the ball and North Penn owned the circle tonight.
