“What stood out about Dylan and Nick was how hard they work offseason and in practice,” Souderton coach Craig Hunsberger said. “We did a lot of offseason workouts, and those two were at every offseason workout. They were putting in the time offseason to get better so they can play at the next level. That’s what stood out to me the most just how much they committed to the team and themselves to get better.”
Nick Mancini – Moravian University (Lacrosse)
Major: Music Education
Final list of colleges: Moravian, Hofstra, Immaculata
Reasons for choosing Moravian: “I chose Moravian because the academic program suited me better.”
Favorite high school sports memory: “My favorite memory was beating LC last year.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I started playing lacrosse in fourth grade, and I did it because friends were doing it. Now I’m doing it because I love the sport.”
Coach Craig Hunsberger says: “Nick has been a great leader on and off the field. He does a good job of bringing the rest of the team together. He makes plays sometimes that you don’t think he’s going to make, and it’s just like – ‘Wow.’”

Reasons for choosing Penn Tech: “I chose Penn Tech because it was a trade school, and they had a lacrosse team.”
Favorite high school sports memory: “My favorite memory was beating Lansdale Catholic last year.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I’ve been playing lacrosse for more than 10 years – I loved it and wanted to keep going.”
Coach Craig Hunsberger says: “Dylan played short stick defensive middie. His biggest strength is his athleticism and his speed. He’s very good at picking up ground balls and legging them to the other side of the field. We often used him as a one-man clear to just catch the ball and run up field.”
