Key returning players: Seniors Liz Neeld (forward), Jessica Shein (Back), Sarah Rosala (Goalie)
Players to watch: Juniors Jess Pachman (mid) and Bri Rocha (forward)
Strengths: “We have several of our offensive players returning that are expected to be big contributors on the field. This is our second year with a new offense, so the team is more comfortable with it. Goalie Sarah Rosala is a three-year varsity starter so has plenty of experience in goal. We do have a younger defense, but they are eager to learn and improve.”
Team goals: “To continue to work as a team and use all 11 players on the field to create both scoring opportunities and defensive stops. The crossover games were tough for us last year, so our goal is to be better prepared for those larger more experienced squads. Long term we hope to make it to the playoffs as we are moving up from A to AA this season.”
