Senior Nick Wise scored in the first minute of play and set the tone for
the lopsided North opening day win. North played 22 men in the match
emptying the bench early. Wise also added an assist. Junior midfielder
Ari Pollack had a goal and an assist, Senior Mike Brusca had 2 goals and
an assist, Junior Jack Randolph added a goal and a assist, Junior David
Igval had a goal and Sophomores Windsor Varady and Will Kamp added
single goals. Senior Cole Mayer had 2 assists while the goal keeping tandem
of Calvin Hopkins and Gavin Roon kept a clean sheet on a total of four saves.
Seniors Danny Ugras, Nick Pagliughi, Will Potero and captain Chase McCaffrey
held the Truman offense to limited opportunities. Truman goalkeeper Antonio
Jimenez made 15 saves, some spectacular from close range. Truman midfielder
Juan Ramirez was outstanding.

North travels to Bensalem Wednesday, while Truman hosts Pennsbury in league
games.
