CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, NESHAMINY 0
The Titans received contributions up and down the lineup in their sweep of the visiting Redskins. Setter Pola Sawicka handed out 25 assists and also had nine digs and two kills. Senior outside hitter Breckyn Loynd had a big game, leading the Titans with 15 kills to go along with five aces and seven digs. Senior outside hitter Katie Canzanese added seven kills, 11 digs and four aces. Junior libero Sarah Murray had 11 digs and three assists while senior defensive specialist Julian Daniele had eight digs and one ace. Also contributing were junior opposite Ally Schiesser (2 kills,1 block), junior middle hitters Peyton Snyder (1 ace, 2 kills) and Jillian Jefferys (2 kills, 2 digs).
For the Redskins, McKenna Haws led the defense with 10 digs to go along with four aces. Ava Draut (6 kills, 5 digs, 2 aces), Pearl Smith (6 kills, 2 blocks) and Ana Vasilyeva (5 kills) led the Redskins’ attack. Setter Maggie Zercher had 19 assists.  
Central Bucks South (1-1) will travel to Southern Lehigh on Friday for a non-league game. Neshaminy (3-1) will travel to New Hope-Solebury on Friday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0
The Golden Hawks earned a sweep of host Flying Cardinals.
Lindsey Korn (12 digs, 4 aces) and setter Ashlyn Dinan (11 digs, 21 assists) led a solid defensive effort. Edan Kauer added nine digs and seven kills while Nala Kauer also had seven kills and six aces to lead the Hawks’ service game. Shani Sun contributed six kills, and Gracie DeSaro had two kills and one block.
For the Cardinals, Kaitlyn Small had nine assists, and Allison Loose led the defense with nine digs. Also contributing were Brooke Kinsley (4 kills, 1 ace, digs, 1 block), Lyvia Marcus (2 kills) and Reese Mackey (2 kills, 2 aces, 5 digs).
Council Rock South (1-2) will travel to Bensalem on Tuesday, and Upper Dublin (0-2) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0
Hatboro-Horsham opened its season with a sweep of visiting non-league Council Rock North.
The Hatters’ offense was run by freshman Paisley Lauzier with 28 assists. HH had a great night at the net with senior middle Jade Lauzier hitting .667 with seven kills on nine attempts, senior outside hitter Kayla Jones hitting .450 with 12 kills on 20 attempts, and juniors Cassidy Hudson and Emma O'Reilly adding seven and four kills respectively. HH had 12 aces in the three sets led by senior libero Elizabeth Morgan with four.
For the Indians, senior Sophie Lentz had six kills and five aces. Sophomore setter Sara McCafferty and freshman Marcele Roszko combined for 15 assists and five aces.
Hatboro-Horsham (1-0) travels to Abington on Tuesday for its second match of the season. Council Rock North (1-1) will travel to Pennsbury next Thursday.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, PENNRIDGE 0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-21)
The Colonials – sparked by a strong service game and tenacious defense - notched their second win of the young season with a sweep of the visiting Rams.
“It was a good team win,” PW coach Dave Stewart said. “The team will look to continue improving each match and hope to do so on Tuesday.”
Plymouth Whitemarsh (2-0) will travel to Upper Dublin and Tuesday. Pennridge (0-3) will host Quakertown on Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-19)
The Bucks rolled to a sweep of the visiting Patriots in a non-league match.
Alexis Barklage led a balanced attack with 11 kills while Hollis Walton (8 kills, 1 ace), Mackenzie Lund (7 kills) and Lily Rasnake (6 kills) also made important contributions. Elisa Kremser (14 assists, 4 kills, 3 digs) and Erin Ferello (14 assists, 5 digs, 2 aces) shared setting duties. Rachel Hu had eight digs, three aces and three kills while Caroline Taylor had seven digs, four aces and one kill.
Central Bucks West (2-1) will travel to Merion Mercy for a non-league match on Friday.

ABINGTON 3, VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 1 (25-20, 25-17, 19-25, 25-16)
Kenya Lucas slammed home 18 kills and Sasha Moody had 12 to lead the Ghosts at the net in their non-league win over the Jems. Setter Mary Carter had 36 assists.
Abington (3-0) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday.

Wednesday, August 31
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 1 (15-25, 25-23, 25-21, 26-24)
The Panthers dropped the first set but rallied to win the next three, earning the hard fought win.
“It was an extremely competitive and exciting match,” coach Brian Bassler said. “We got really nice contributions up and down the lineup, and it was a total team effort to pull off the win.”
Setter Izzy Goebel had 31 assists, five aces and three kills. Addy Criss led the defense with 17 digs. Margaux Kellum added eight digs and five aces. A balanced Tennent attack was led by Emmerson McElhinney (8 kills, 4 aces), Lauren Marsland (8 kills, 5 aces) and Allyson Brown (7 kills).
William Tennent (1-1) will host Pennsbury on Tuesday, and New Hope-Solebury (1-1) will host Neshaminy on Friday.
