Mike Brusca had 2 goals for CR North, the opener and the winner, wrapped
around Ari Pollack's blast and Chase McCaffrey added a penalty kick. The game
was a back and forth battle with North Penn playing an extremely high paced
ball control game. North Penn scorers were Nate Kim early on in the first half
on a penalty kick to knot the game at a goal each. CR North took the lead before
the half ended. North Penn came out of the intermission with purpose and their
hard work paid off by tying the match. North didn't flinch though and played thru
with Brusca scoring the game winner with 15 minutes left and McCaffrey sealed
it with the PK at six minutes left. Junior defender Hunter Klein had a hand in each
of CR North's three goals on restarts. CR North goal keeper Calvin Hopkins was stellar
and Indians midfielders Cole Mayer and Tanmay Ondkar played extremely well
pressing the North Penn defenders most of the evening.
