After an emotional Senior night win and short turn around time North went to work.
Nick Wise opened the scoring 3 minutes into the first half on a lovely through ball
from Tanmay Ondkar. Fifthteen minutes later Ari Pollack won a second ball, beat
three defenders and drilled one from the top of the penalty box. The half ended 2-0.
North came right out from the intermission with alot of energy and within 5 minutes
Keertan Palayam found the back of the net from the first of two throw in assists from
Will Potero. The fourth goal also assisted by Potero was scored by Tanmay Ondkar
on an excellent turn and shoot. North finished up the scoring with an excellent head
ball flick over the Bensalem keeper by Will Kamp on a lofted cross by Cole Mayer.
The defensive unit of Mike Pinho, Chase McCaffrey, Corey Brennan, Danny Ugrass,
Chris Pinho and Nick Pagluighi kept Bensalem off the board to help Calvin Hopkins
record the shutout. North now 9-2-2 SOL 11-2-2 overall while Bensalem now 2-9-1
SOL 2-11-1 overall.
