2022 Sterling Limousine Players of the Week (Week 8)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Week. Players are chosen based on the nomination of SOL coaches and football contributors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Pennsbury running back Galamama ‘G’ Mulbah, Pennsbury – The senior running back put his name in the program record books in Pennsbury’s 44-34 win over North Penn, the Falcons’ first win over the Knights since 1996. Mulbah had 49 carries for 364 yards and four touchdowns, second only to Charles Snorweah, a 2015 Pennsbury grad who rushed for 440 yards. For the season, Mulbah has 210 carries for 1,401 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Coach Galen Snyder says: G has had a great season for us thus far and is one of the top running backs in Southeastern PA.

DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Wissahickon defense led by Tre Stubbs, Gavin Myers & Max PesterThe Trojans’ defense made all the plays in Wissahickon’s 28-3 win over William Tennent. It was the first win of the season for the Trojans, who allowed just 149 yards total offense – 48 passing and 101 on the ground. The Trojans also forced three turnovers – two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Coach Rory Graver says:Our defensive coordinator and staff had a great game plan, and our players believed in the game plan and executed.”

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ty Quintois, Souderton - The senior kicker had himself a night in Souderton’s 23-0 win over Council Rock South. Four of his six kickoffs were for touchbacks, and he was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, connecting on field goals of 42, 39 and 25 yards.

 

Coach Ed Gallagher says: “I’d like to obviously score touchdowns, but I’m very happy with Ty Quintois. On his Senior Night, he got to win a soccer game in the afternoon (1-0 over North Penn), and then he kicked three field goals and had four touchbacks. I’m very happy for the kid that he was able to execute every chance we gave him.”

Sterling Limo Honor Roll:

Markus Bennett, Neshaminy – The senior running back had 102 yards on 21 carries in Neshaminy’s 21-7 loss to Central Bucks South.

Eli Boehm, Central Bucks West – The senior running back had 27 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns in Central Bucks West’s 27-8 win over Pennridge.

Jack Corrigan, Central Bucks East – The senior kicker was a perfect 4-for-4 on PATs and also connected on his only field goal attempt of 31 yards in Central Bucks East’s 31-6 win over Abington. He also had one touchback.

Brennan Fisher, Pennridge – The senior running back, committed to the US Military Academy West Point, ran for 175 yards and a touchdown in Pennridge’s 27-8 loss to Central Bucks West. Fisher broke a 57-yard run for his team’s only touchdown.

Anthony Leonardi, Central Bucks South – The junior running back was a catalyst in the running game in Central Bucks South’s 21-7 win over Neshaminy, finishing with 119 yards and a touchdown.

Pat Keller, Central Bucks East – The senior quarterback completed 11 of 16 passes (69 percent) for 215 yards and one touchdown in Central Bucks East’s 31-6 win over Abington. In addition to the 11 completions, there were three drops.

Yazeed Haynes, North Penn – The senior wide receiver, a University of Georgia commit, had a monster night in North Penn’s 44-34 loss to Pennsbury, finishing with eight receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns.

Jaden McLean, Wissahickon – The junior running back had 136 rushing yards and 41 receiving yards in Wissahickon’s 28-3 win over William Tennent.

Sean Moskowitz, John Henson & Matt Krysko, Central Bucks South – The trio anchored a standout defensive effort that allowed just 184 total yards in Central Bucks South’s 21-7 win over Neshaminy. Moskowitz led the Titans with nine tackles while Henson and Matt Krysko (2.5 TFL, 1.5 sack) both had eight.

Wissahickon offensive line: Thomas Garvey, Luke Clerkin, Adam Grossman, Jarret Federer, Cole Rogers, Ethan Baritz, Bradley Quick & Xavier Olivares – The Trojans – behind the efforts of their offensive line – rushed for 166 yards in Wissahickon’s 28-3 win over William Tennent.

Dan Voglesong & Joe Maeglin, Central Bucks East – The linebacker duo combined for 21 tackles (2 TFL) in Central Bucks East’s 31-6 win over Abington. Voglesong, a junior, had 11 tackles and one tackle for a loss while Maeglin had 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss.

Jared Zimmerman, Souderton – The senior quarterback ran for 82 yards and two touchdowns and threw for another 75 yards in Souderton’ 23-0 win over Council Rock South.
