Lower Moreland’s season came to an end today in a tough 5-0 loss to a strong and higher seeded Mount St. Joseph’s Academy. Overall we had a pretty successful season so the ending was tough. Mount’s offense and quick ball movement made it difficult to get our offense going. Goalie Sarah Rosala had 44 saves on the day and Liz Neeld was helpful in all positions and left everything on the field. The Lions will miss their eight seniors next season. Their leadership both on and off the field have been immense. They will look to returners Jess Pachman, Bri Rocha, Haley Keller, and Ashely Avington next year to continue the teams upward progress.
