Five of his nine passes were for touchdowns. He finished an abbreviated stint at the helm 9-for-12 for 166 yards.

STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Souderton’s Defense – The Indians’ defense shut out a Central Bucks South squad that had been averaging 21 points a game and brought a four-game winning streak into its District 1 6A opener at Souderton. The Indians, who earned a 10-0 win, allowed over 300 yards total offense, but the Titans never got into the end zone in a 10-0 loss to Souderton. Leading the Indians’ defensive charge were junior Danny Dyches (12 tackles, 1 TFL), senior senior Caleb Hageman (12 tackles), junior Ryan Sadowski (10 tackles) and junior Aiden Elliott (8 tackles, 1 TFL).

Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Unfortunately, we lost Chris Kerns for the season, but we did get Joey (Nase) back for the first round of playoffs, and that was huge. Shaun Purvy came back and played. Aiden Elliott had his best game tonight when the lights were brightest. Our kids kept fighting. That’s a very physical football team. I think we went toe-to-toe with them as best we could and did enough because they didn’t score a point. Hats off to our defense. Mike Heath, our defensive coordinator, did a great job scheming to try and stop what they do.”
