2022 Sterling Limousine Players of the Week (Wks 13 & 14)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation  Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Week. Players are chosen based on the nomination of SOL coaches and football contributors.

STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
 Player of the Week (Week 14)

Kyree Butler, Upper Dublin – The senior lineman delivered a big play when the Cardinals needed it most, blocking a punt that that set up the second touchdown and sent Upper Dublin into halftime with a 14-0 lead on its way to a 21-7 win over West Chester Rustin in the District 1 5A title game. Butler also had a hand in seven tackles.

Coach Bret Stover says:  “Kyree has done it all for us  this year on both sides of the ball. Opening holes for our running backs, pass protecting our quarterback on offense. While on defense, he has been a consistent run stopper, pass rusher, and last week he blocked a punt that changed the entire momentum and allowed us to get up by two scores. It’s no wonder he is a two-way first team all SOL Continental performer. 

Also under consideration:
Quakertown Offensive line (Vinny Pellegrini, Nick Laudenberger, Brian Hendrzak, Kendre Lopez and Andrew Gansz) & running backs Brett Hileman & Gavin Carroll – The offensive line paved the way for running backs Gavin Carroll and Brett Hileman to dominate the time of possession in Quakertown's 22-6 win over Pennridge in the annual rivalry Thanksgiving Day game. Carroll led the Panthers' ground game with 105 rushing yards.

STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
 Player of the Week (Week 13)

Chris Kohlbrenner, Upper Dublin – The junior defensive back turned in a monster performance in Upper Dublin’s 30-0 shutout of Plymouth Whitemarsh in a District 1 5A semifinal contest. He not only led the Cardinals with 11 tackles, he also recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown.

Coach Bret Stover says:  “Chris Has had a remarkable season, battling a hand injury suffered in the North Penn. Played lights out in our playoff game vs Plymouth Whitemarsh contributing to our defensive success against an outstanding run game.  Chris has a knack for being around the ball. As a 3-year starter in our secondary Chris provides knowledge and leadership to our defense.”
