We are still struggling with putting all 4 quarters together consistently, but our defense when we are aggressive and rotate looks much better! Players are jumping in the passing lanes and are either making deflections or getting steals. William Tennent played really hard tonight as they always do. Laura does a nice job getting them prepared and playing till the buzzer. Halie Staub did a nice job finding the open shots in our zone and I think Avery Kocur has some beautiful drives to the basket. She is going to be one to watch out for over the next couple years. 
Carolyn is always so solid with her rebounding for us pulling down 14 rebounds and 3 steals. She made some beautiful spins tonight sealing their posts and also being smart with the ball at the end of the game when it started getting close. Katie Catalano had 7 rebounds and hit some important 3's for us. In the first half they did a nice job following her in our zone offense so she couldn't get wide open shots. She is someone I want the ball in her hands at the end of the game. She's so quick and her confidence in her ball handling amongst the pressure puts me at ease when its in her hands. We got to the foul line a lot tonight which we've tried to make a focus for our girls, but we just weren't making our foul shots tonight. Something we have to make sure we do to close out games or keep them close.
