HARRY S TRUMAN BOYS’ LACROSSE PREVIEW

Coach: Scott Jackson (1st year HC, 2 Years as assistant)

Assistant coaches: None

Last year’s record: 0-18

Notable losses: Sebastian Hamilton

Key returners: Tommy Bryson (SO./G) Chris Glover (Jr./M) Patrick Berkery (Sr./A) Jack Rugarber (Sr./D) Nate Cornell (Jr./A) Joe Scheller (Jr./M/A) Kaiden Toombs (Sr./D)

Others to watch: Chase Tuttle (Jr./D) Robert Krystofolski (Fr./M) Lawson Pearce (Fr./M/A)

Strengths/Question Marks: The offense returns most of the starters from last year with two seasoned attackmen and an experienced line of midfielders running the offense. The defense has a couple of newcomers that have picked the game up very well in the short amount of time they’ve been playing and expect them to play a gritty, hardworking brand of defense lead by senior Jack Rugarber and sophomore goalie Tommy Bryson.

Outlook: “The Tigers look to improve on their 0-18 record from last year. We practiced all summer, fall, and winter to improve our game, so we’ll be able to compete in the SOL National Conference.”
