It was certainly not the prettiest game, but it was a battle from beginning to end that both teams fought valiantly, and none of the 3 pitchers who stepped on the field deserved to lose. The pitchers threw tremendously to keep both teams in the hunt.

Our team was certainly not crisp. During regulation alone we stranded the bases loaded twice, came up empty with runners on 2nd and 3rd once, and also stranded runners on first and third in another inning. We just couldn't come up with the timely hits when we needed, and a lot of that had to do with the stellar performance by Averi Dockery in the circle. She really has a bright future ahead of her, she's a tremendous player.

On top of trying to set a world record for runners left on base, we also committed 4 errors in today's game. However, with all that going wrong, to come out with a win against a team as strong as Pennridge, once again shows the heart of this year's CR North team. No matter the situation, these girls just keep battling.

Our two freshman pitchers, Olivia Schlindwein, and Lucy Mills both pitched fantastically, and they deserve all the credit in the world for keeping us in this game until we could eek out the win.
