On Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, Central Bucks East senior Reagan Griffith was recognized for committing to continue her tennis career at Cairn University.

Reasons for choosing Cairn: “Just the people in general - they made me feel like I was at home. They made me feel like I could go there and
do something to change the world.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in tennis at the collegiate level? “I actually started tennis in seventh grade, and the reason I kept going is because all my coaches and my parents, siblings and family were rooting for me. It really helped me determine the sport I really enjoy playing and to having friends in that sport too.”
Coach Mary Lou Cardie says: “Reagan is one of the most intense, dedicated tennis players that I teach. She does not need to be motivated. She brings her own motivation to every practice. She’s a great student, she has a joyful attitude, and she gives 110 percent every practice. She’s got a phenomenal serve, a wicked forehand, she’s extremely speedy on the court - she can run anything down, and she never gives up on a point.”
