BENSALEM 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2
Bensalem lost the first two sets of Tuesday’s road match and was losing 8-4 and 14-10 in the fifth set before rallying to win 17-15.
“We suffered a tough 3-2 loss last week to Pennsbury after going up 2-0, so to bounce back tonight and win three straight makes me incredibly proud of my guys,” Bensalem coach Tim Linehan said. “Jack Wineburg (22 kills,1 ace, 1 block) was unbelievable tonight. He put the team on his back when things weren’t going well.
“Veer Patel (47 assists 13 digs) had an amazing match tonight running the offense and sealing the win with a kill.”
Outside hitter Dev Patel (17 kills) stepped up with some big kills late. Jahaan Patel (4 kills 3 blocks) and Vraj Patel (3 kills 3 blocks) both had huge blocks late in the fifth set. Middle Bruce Bell (3 kills 5 digs) served a huge run to bring the Owls back within striking distance in the fifth set. DS Luv Patel had 12 big digs and libero Rohan Patel (26 digs 3 assists) had an enormous dig on match point.
Bensalem is now 14-2 (10-2 SOL) and plays at Abington on Thursday. Council Rock North (7-8, 5-6 SOL) will host Pennsbury on Thursday.
NESHAMINY 3, ABINGTON 0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-21)
The Redskins rolled to a sweep of the visiting Ghosts in conference play.
Setter Jake Giuliana handed out 31 assists and also had three aces. Brandon Sloskey led a balanced attack with nine kills to go along with three digs and one ace. John Nice added eight kills, one dig, one ace and two blocks, and Beknazar Balyshbekov had eight kills, one ace, two digs and one block. Also contributing were Aiden Hastings (2 aces, 3 kills, 4 digs, 2 blocks), Liam Smith (2 aces, 4 kills, 1 dig), Toby Kovaschetz (8 digs) and Chase Nutall (1 dig).
Neshaminy (9-6, 7-5 SOL) will travel to Council Rock South on Thursday, and Abington (5-11, 4-9) will host Bensalem on Thursday.

Nate Brown had a huge night at the net, contributing 19 kills, nine digs and three aces to lead the Indians to the big win over the visiting Cardinals.
Ian Nice had nine kills and eight digs, and Derek Gilmore added eight kills, five blocks and five digs. Alec Kreiser’s 11 digs led the defense. He also had two aces. Ethan Frattarelli had eight digs, and Matt Quizon added five digs and two blocks.
For the Cardinals, setter Cole Brown had 37 assists and eight digs. Cory Pendleton had a huge night at the net with 20 kills to go along with two aces and eight digs. Terrell Turner added 15 kills, nine digs, one block and one ace. Landon Kullmann had eight kills and two digs. Dominick Plaku led the defense with 13 digs to go along with two aces.
Souderton (10-6, 8-4 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Thursday, and Upper Dublin (9-4, 8-4) will be on the road at Central Bucks West on Thursday.
PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-20, 29-27, 25-19)
The visiting Bucks extended the Rams in the second set, but the Rams prevailed to earn the sweep.
For the Rams, setter Evan Jalosinski handed out 36 assists. Jude Rotondo led a balanced attack with 11 kills to go along with six digs and two blocks. Also contributing at the net were Logan Jalosinski (8 kills, 2 aces), Thomas McKinney (7 kills, 4 digs), Bryce Ammon (7 kills, 3 blocks), Gavin Stayer (5 kills, 2 blocks) and Aaron Ladd (5 kills, 2 blocks). Ty Porter added eight digs.
For the Bucks, Oliver Hu had seven kills while Dean Nguyen had five kills, five aces and five digs. Christian Woo added three kills and two blocks. Liam Boyle had 15 assists, and Caleb Woodring had five digs.
Pennridge (11-2, 11-1 SOL) will host Quakertown on Thursday, and Central Bucks West (6-10, 4-8) will host Upper Dublin Thursday.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-15)
Matt LaBouliere had another big night for the Patriots, leading a balanced attack with 10 kills (.900 kill percentage), nine assists, three aces, three blocks and nine digs.
AJ Helveston led the defense with 13 digs as well as three kills and one ace. Aiden Leichter (12 digs) and Steve DiRugeris (11 digs) also were key on defense. Other contributors were Justin Berger (3 blocks, 1 dig, 1 kill), Sean Figus (1 dig), Pat Haurin (1 ace, 3 kills, 6 digs), Kurt Patel (1 ace), Ethan Scott (1 ace, 1 block, 3 digs, 2 kills), Ryan Coxey (1 kill), Reid Miller (1 block, 1 dig, 5 kills) and Brady Colbert (4 digs).
For the Panthers, contributors included Rhauan Ferreira (5 kills, 8 digs), Owen Reinford (4 kills, 6 digs), Tyler Moyer (3 kills, 6 assists, 10 digs), Rhenan Ferreira (2 kills, 2 assists, 7 digs), Owen Latt (2 kills, 3 digs), Aiden Ziegler (1 kill, 1 block, 3 digs), Owen Williams (1 kill, 2 digs), Alex Alfaro-Diaz (1 kill), Evan Nice (8 digs) and Anthony Clark (4 digs)
Central Bucks East (9-5, 8-4 SOL) will host Central Bucks South on Thursday, and Quakertown (3-14, 1-11) will travel to Pennridge Thursday.
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, NORTH PENN 0
CB South swept the visiting Knights.
Ben Grove led the team once again with 11 kills, eight digs and a pair of aces. Josh Conley contributed a strong night with seven kills, six digs and 10 assists.
“All three setters had a good night,” coach Dave Schlosser said. “Sam Snyder did a great job off the bench and came up with some spectacular defensive plays and 12 assists. Gavin Roth played well setting and hitting outside for the Titans. Another day at the office for Will Tantum. He was our passing and defensive rock. He does a great job in the back controlling the serve receive and defense and he's a good leader. The boys put us back at .500 tonight. 6-6 in the conference.
Central Bucks South (7-7, 6-6 SOL) will be on the road at Central Bucks East Thursday, and North Penn (3-10, 2-10) will host Souderton Thursday.
