CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, ABINGTON 0
CB East leaders today included Matt LaBouliere with nine kills, nine assists, nine aces, one block, and 19 digs, AJ Helveston with six kills, two aces, nine digs, and Aiden Leichter with 17 digs and two assists.
Directing the Patriot attack, Rhys Marshall dished 13 assists with five digs. Sean Figus once again had a great serving match, while Justin Berger (2 kills, 2 blocks, 1 dig), Pat Haurin (1 ace, 1 block, 9 digs, 3 kills), Ethan Scott (1 ace, 3 blocks, 4 digs, 1 kill), and Reid Miller (4 kills, 1 block) all contributed solid efforts at the net. Defensively, Steve DiRugeris (4 digs), and Brady Colbert (with an amazing kick save) provided stability.
Central Bucks East (12-5, 9-4 SOL) will host Central Bucks West Tuesday, and Abington (5-13, 4-10) will host Cheltenham Tuesday.
NESHAMINY 3, NORTHEAST 0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-14)
The Redskins rolled to a sweep of Northeast in Monday’s non-league match.
Setter El-Mansur Sagalive handed out 31 assists and also had one ace, two kills, three digs and two blocks. John Nice led a balanced defense with 11 kills and also had three aces and five digs. Beknazar Baiyshbekov added eight kills, three aces and three digs, and Chas Nuttall had seven kills and one block. Also contributing were Aiden Hastings (3 kills, 2 digs, 1 block), Brandon Sloskey (3 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks), Vraj Amin (1 kill, 1 dig), Toby Kovaschetz (5 digs, 1 assist), Liam Smith (1 block), Jake Giuliana (1 dig) and Ruhan Jaikaria (1 dig).
Neshaminy (11-6, 8-5 SOL) will travel to Bensalem on Tuesday.
SOUDERTON 3, SPRING-FORD 0
The Indians celebrated Senior Night with a sweep of the visiting Rams in a non-league match.
Nate Brown turned in an all-around strong outing, contributing 12 kills, two blocks, six digs, seven assists and two aces. Also making contributions were Aiden Aldredge (4 kills, 3 blocks), Ian nice (4 kills, 2 blocks, 8 digs, 2 aces), Derek Gilmore (3 kills, 4 blocks, 4 digs), Alec Kreiser (5 digs, 1 ace), Ethan Frattarelli (4 kills, 4 digs) and Matt Quizon (3 kills, 2 blocks).
Souderton (12-6, 9-4 SOL) will host Pennridge on Tuesday.
