WILLIAM TENNENT 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-19)

Tennent went on the road and earned a sweep of the host Panthers.
“The girls turned in a very strong overall match, but it was really the defense that got the job done and started the rallies,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said.
Senior libero Addy Criss had 15 digs while juniors Margaux Kellum and Emmerson McElhinney both had 10 digs apiece. Margaux also turned in six aces while Emmerson had nine kills. Senior setter Izzy Goebel had 29 assists, five digs and three aces, but her ability to spread the ball around was the key. Sophomore Kristina Bentsionova had 12 kills, and senior middle Erta Fonda had eight kills and 0 errors.
For the host Panthers, Ella White (7 kills, 1 block, 1 ace), Grace White (7 kills, 2 blocks, 10 digs) and Cece Bates (6 kills, 7 digs) led a balanced attack. Setter Genevieve Clark had 13 assists, three aces, 10 digs and one block, and Anna Skogen added six assists and three digs. Also contributing were Ericka Marks (1 kill, 1 dig), Mia Handschumacher (4 digs), Bella Mooney (1 block, 2 digs), Zoe Hartley (4 digs), Jocellyn Heverly (5 digs), Krysalyn Juchno (1 kill, 2 digs), Colleen Gallagher (4 digs) and Meghan Steiert (3 digs)
William Tennent (7-7, 4-4 SOL) will travel to Council Rock North on Tuesday, and Quakertown (3-9, 1-7) will be on the road at Central Bucks West on Tuesday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, UPPER DUBLIN 2
Edan and Nala Kauer were double trouble for the Cardinals in Monday’s non-league five-set match. Both had 15 kills with Edan also contributing six digs while Nala also had two aces, two blocks and six digs.
Olivia De Saro added 10 kills, two digs and good serving while Rachael Buchnik had seven kills, two blocks and one ace, and Dara Botnick had five kills and one block. Setter Ashlyn Dinan handed out 20 assists and also had one ace, one kill and one block. Cadence Palmer led the defense with 12 digs while Cassidy Melnick had eight digs. Yana Kotlyarenko (3 kills, 1 block) and Rachel Khelmer (3 assists) also contributed.
For the Cardinals, Janis Andrulonis had a team-high 10 kills to go along with one ace, eight digs and two blocks. Alisa Zeng led the defense with 23 digs and also had three aces and three assists. Brooke Kinsley added 16 digs, eight kills, two blocks and one ace. Lyvia Marcus also had double-digit kills with 11, and Madison Small also had 11 digs as well as three kills and one ace. Setter Kaitlyn Small handed out 29 assists and also had 19 digs, two kills, two aces and four blocks. Also contributing were Natalie Marshall (6 kills, 7 digs), Reese Mackey (6 kills, 10 digs, 1 block), and Shanley Joyce (6 blocks, 1 kill, 1 assist).
Council Rock South (11-2, 8-0 SOL) will host Pennsbury on Tuesday, and Upper Dublin (6-6, 5-3) will host Gwynedd Mercy on Tuesday.

ABINGTON 3, GWYNEDD MERCY 2 (20-25, 25-20, 25-27, 15-25, 16-14)
For the third time this season, the Ghosts were extended to five sets – for the third time, they emerged victorious. .
“It’s a fun team,” Abington coach Dan Marsh said. “We’re 3-0 since (setter) Mary Carter got hurt, and it’s just us hanging on and playing hard.
“Two of the (five-set matches) were without our setter and went five. They just don’t quit.”
Iris Winegrad once again filled in at setter, handing out 18 assists. Kaelyn Kosik, who shared setting duties with Winegrad, had 11 assists, 11 digs and four kills. Sasha Moody had a huge night at the net, finishing with 18 kills. Liz Tanis had five kills and four blocks, and Elle Penekamp had four blocks. Abington (11-2, 6-2 SOL) will host Wissahickon on Tuesday.

VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 3, SOUDERTON 1 (25-18, 25-17, 21-25, 25-24)
The Indians fell to the visiting Jems in a four-set match.
McKenna Murawski led the Indians with 11 kills, nine aces, 24 digs and one block. Zoe Folk led the defense with 22 digs and had one kill and one ace. Setter Margaret Donnelly handed out 21 assists and also had seven digs. Kaci Goshow had four kills and three digs, and Stella Powers added two aces and seven digs.
Souderton (9-6, 5-3 SOL) will travel to Quakertown on Thursday.
