Notable losses: Graduated 5 seniors, including Alex Kebuz who was the SOL Freedom champion.
Key returners: Joshua Simon (senior 145), Jisue Kim (Junior 160), Ben Morris (Junior 172), Mohammed Ismael (senior 285), James King (Junior 107), Shodibek Pulatov (Senior 145)
Others to watch: We have a large returning sophomore class with a handful of wrestlers that will rotate into our varsity lineup, including Marco Fiocca, Parviz Abdumuminov, and Dan Prater. Freshmen Habib Davis, Ethan Pachman, and Matt Wuller will also compete for a place in the varsity lineup this year.
Outlook: “We have great numbers this year, with about 50 on our roster. We are looking forward to continuing to develop the wrestlers we have. We are also looking forward to our first year with a girls team, which currently has two members: Alana Davila (senior) and Alanna Condo (freshman).”
