ABINGTON 7, WISSAHICKON 5
Seamus Donofry’s five-point game led the Ghosts in Friday’a win over the Trojans at Bucks Ice. Teammate Shane Meltzer added three goals and one assist in a four-point game.
In the opening period, Abington’s Meltzer (Donofry assists) and Michael Romano (Donofry/Meltzer assists) each scored a goal sandwiched around a goal by Wissahickon’s Benjamin Raebiger.
Abington took a 2-1 lead into a second period the Ghosts owned, scoring four unanswered goals. Devin Bates scored the first and fourth goals – the first with assists from Donofry and Mason Murdoch and the second with assists from Romano and Jude Large. Donofry (Large assist) and Meltzer (Donofry assist) also each added a goal in the period as the Ghosts opened up a 6-1 lead heading into the final period.
A goal by Raebiger (John Kuffner assist) sparked a 4-0 Trojan run that included goals by Jack Raebiger, Logan Honeycutt (Aiden Brooks/Benjamin Raebiger assists) and Aiden Brooks. Meltzer’s goal in the final minute with a Samuel Abramson assist gave the Ghosts their final margin of victory.
Abington’s Devin Brown recorded 33 saves in a winning effort in goal. Fletcher Lynch was credited with 35 saves for the Trojans.

HATBORO-HORSHAM/UPPER DUBLIN 10, SPRINGFIELD 8
William Hurlburt scored six goals and also had a pair of assists in an eight-point game to lead Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin to a come-from-behind win. The Spartans led 6-3 early in the second period, but H-H/UD answered with a 6-0 run to take a lead they would not lose on the way to the win.
Springfield opened up a 3-1 lead in the first period, thanks to goals by Gabriel Wells, Grayson Quinn and Ronan Klein. The second goal of the period by Victor Wilkins (Nathan Nemchininov assist) made it a 3-2 game at the end of one period.
Quinn upped Springfield’s lead to 4-2, but Jonah Fisher answered for H-H/UD. Consecutive goals by Gavin McManus and Richard Belles gave the Spartans a 6-3 lead. Hurlburt was the catalyst in a 5-0 run to close out the period, finding the net for four goals. Kevin McGinly also had a goal.
H-H/UD took an 8-6 lead into the final period and that grew 9-6 after a goal by Hurlburt. Ronan Klein broke H-H/UD’s run with an unassisted goal, but Hurlburt answered for H-H/UD. Gavin McManus closed out the scoring with a goal for Springfield.
Max Kepniss earned the win with a 25-save effort in goal for H-H/UD.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, BENSALEM 2
The Colonials rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to eke out the win. With 13 minutes remaining in regulation, Blake Ambler broke a 2-2 tie with a goal assisted by Chris London. That goal stood as the game-winner.
Hood opened the game with back-to-back goals in the first period – the first with an Alex Bazylevich assist and the second with assists from Bazylevich and Nicholas Gambino. David Branigan’s goal with a Daniel Guller assist made it a 2-1 game at the end of one period.
London scored the only goal of the second period, knotting the score with 19 seconds remaining and using assists from Blake Ambler and Luke Smith. That set the stage for Ambler’s third period game-winner.
Julian Lucks recorded 22 saves in a winning effort in goal for the Colonials. Bensalem’s Ricky Gonzalez kept the Owls in it with a 38-save performance.

The Rams won a wild one at Hatfield Ice on Thursday, rallying from an early 3-0 deficit and taking their first lead at 7-6 before going ahead for good with 5 minutes remaining in the second period (8-7). Kevin Pico led the offensive onslaught for the Rams, scoring six goals and assisting on three others.
Early on, The Indians received back-to-back-to-back goals in a four-minute span from Seth Grossman (Maxwell Ryon assist), Nicholas Smith and Luca Ferretti (Caden O’Neill assist). Pico (Shane Dachowski assist) and Andrew Savona (Pico assist) scored consecutive goals to make it a 3-2 game, but Souderton’s Matthew Cross (Cameron Fairweather assist) put the Indians on top 4-2. Pennridge’s James Embert scored with a Joshua Kelly assist to make it a 4-3 after one period.
The second period featured a whole lot of offense – 10 goals between the two teams. Pico (Savona/Joshua Kelly assists) and Matthew Malanga (Grossman/Smith assists) exchanged goals in the opening minutes. Then it was Pico (Shane Dachowski assist) and Maxwell Ryon taking turns scoring, and the Indians led 6-5.
Back-to-back goals by Pico and Savona gave the Rams a 7-6 list, but Ryon’s unassisted goal knotted the score. Pico’s power play goal with a Jacob Winton assist with 5:18 remaining in the second period gave the Rams a lead they would not lose. It marked the beginning of a 7-0 Ram tear to close out the game that also included goals by Pico, Embert, Savona, James Rush and a pair by Shane Dachowski.
Shane Dachowski had a six-point game (2g,4a) and Savona had a five-point night (3g,2a). Joshua Kelly contributed three assists while Embert (2g), and Rush (1g,1a) also had multi-point nights.
Winton was credited with 26 saves in a winning effort in goal for the Rams.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 4, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3 (OT)
Drew Trask scored with just 1:16 remaining in overtime, propelling the Patriots to the hard-fought win. Ryan Gerken and Jaden Young assisted on the game-winner.
The two teams spent the game exchanging goals. Trask scored just over two minutes into the game with a Braedan Hahn assist, and with five minutes remaining in the period, Rock North’s Daniel Maglathlin scored a power play goal with an Ivan Bondra assist to even the score. The Patriots took a 2-1 lead, thanks to a goal by Charlie Keiser (Carter Keiser/Corey Kosick assists) in the closing minutes of the opening period.
Nicholas Hahn (Anthony Sapranenko assist scored the only goal of the second period to even the score 2-2 heading into the final period.
A goal by Corey Kosick with a Charlie Keiser assist early in the third period put the Patriots on top 3-2, and that lead held until 4:42 remained in regulation when Daniel Maglathlin connected on a power play goal, using assists from Hahn and Drew Borden. The stage was set for overtime.
East’s Cole Breen was credited with 26 saves in a winning effort in goal. Rock North’s Ian Goldberg stopped 33 shots.

CB South’s Keith Waldron broke a 4-4 tie with 4:04 remaining in regulation, scoring a goal that stood as the game-winner with an assist from Logan Hood. Waldron’s goal capped a dramatic final period.
The two teams entered the final period deadlocked at 3 apiece. A goal by Pennsbury’s Stephen Grosscup (Shane Gleisner assist) seven minutes into the third period broke the tie, but that 4-3 lead held for just over a minute when Hood scored the tying goal with assists from JD Crouch and Jeffrey Kvecher. The stage was set for Waldron’s game-winner.
South’s Nathan Napolitano was credited with 17 saves in goal in the win.

Ten players had a hand in Rock South’s seven goals in a win that was a team effort.
Nolan Shingle’s unassisted goal just over a minute into the game gave the Knights a 1-0 lead. Kevin Koles scored the equalizer just over a minute later with an assist from Nikita Volobuiev. It marked the beginning of a 7-0 Rock South tear.
Back-to-back goals by Jackson Mosley (Chase Tovsky assist) and Blaize Pepe (Daniel Filippov/Nikita Volobuiev assists) gave the Golden Hawks a 3-1 lead after one period.
Koles (Jordan Sarne assist) scored a minute into the second period, marking the beginning of a 4-0 period for the Hawks that also included goals by Jeremy Rayher (Pepe assist), Mosley (Tovsky/Gavin Nisenzon assists) and Illia Mukhin (Filiippov assist).
The Hawks took a 7-1 lead into the final period that saw North Penn’s Cole Pluck (Shingle/Dannial Cabrales assists) score the lone goal of the period.
Rock South’s Trevor Rakszawski was credited with 14 saves in the win. Aidan Quigley kept the Knights close with 41 saves in goal for the Knights.
