Strengths/Question Marks: After graduating 12 seniors from the 2023 club, there are plenty of opportunities for leaders to emerge. We return three starters from the lineup in ’24 Colin Flynn, ’25 Jake Yang, and ’25 Owen Pinkerton who gained valuable experience last season. We will look to those three to help a younger group gain traction at the varsity level. On the mound, we return ’25 Brett Barret, ’25 Blake Bell, and ’24 Eric Hofmeister who took big steps in their development. We believe they will continue to progress and provide quality innings as two-way players. This senior class - led by Flynn, Hofmeister, Braeden Black, Michael Lui, Shawn Esler, Ryan Shaughnessy, and Matt Kline - understands the importance of our team-oriented goals, the core values of our program, and our group believes we can take steps forward in our pursuit of success.”

Outlook: “It is always a goal at CB South to reach the district playoffs. So, nothing has changed with our mindset even with a young and less experienced group overall. We have a hungry group that we believe is committed to each other and eager to compete in a very talented SOL division and league.”
