National Conference
Souderton 14, Pennsbury 5
National Conference frontrunner Souderton exploded out of the gate, pouring in eight goals in the opening quarter and carrying an 11-2 lead into halftime en route to a 14-5 victory over Pennsbury on Thursday.
Seth Grossman’s six-point game (5 goals, 1 assist) led the Indians. He also had three ground balls. John Martin Vince added two goals and two assists, and Sean Landis have a five-point night with one goal and four assists. He also had one ground ball. Jaden Knize added two goals, one assist and six ground balls while Brody Anderson also had two goals. Trey Bui contributed one goal, one assist and two ground balls.
Peyton Bannak won 12 of 19 faceoffs and also had three ground balls. Max Ryon (2 GB), Ryan Rothenberger (1 CTO, 2 GB), Jackson Hirschman (3 CTO, 4 GB), Sean Ryon (1 GB) and Logan Wrubel (1 GB) also contributed. Matt Malanga had four saves in goal in a winning effort. He also had two ground balls.
Pennsbury sophomore John Curtis reached the 100-point milestone for his career with his two-goal game. Trent Becker led the Falcons’ scoring with two goals and one assist, Logan Thorne had one goal, and Eric Rinehimer dished out one assist.
Jaden Beach made 12 saves in the cage, and Bradley Hill went 11-for-21 on face-offs and added three ground ball pickups.
The Indians improve to 8-1 in National Conference play, 12-4 overall, and will host neighborhood rival and fellow conference frontrunner Pennridge at 7 pm Tuesday. Pennsbury (4-5, 7-9) will visit Central Bucks East on Tuesday.

Another game, another accolade for Matt Jacobson.
The Central Bucks West senior continues to add more and more milestones to his illustrious high school career. On Tuesday, the faceoff phenom won 7 of 12 draws, and in doing so, eclipsed the 700 career faceoff wins mark.
Jacobson also scored a goal and added one assist as the Bucks doubled up Council Rock South 10-5 on Thursday.
Alex Greenspan led the Bucks attack with two goals and two assists, while Ben Greenspan added two goals. Colton Albrecht, Aidan Kimberly, James Rutenberg, and Caden Loftus each chipped in with a goal and an assist, while Michael Rafalowski scored once.
Kanen Patel shut out South in the first quarter and made 9 saves on the day to earn the win for the Bucks (6-3 National Conference, 12-3 overall).
Joey Smith scored two goals and had five ground balls for the Golden Hawks (4-4, 10-5), who got off plenty of shots but were often turned aside by Patel or the post. Owen Dillon scored twice and scooped up one ground ball, and TJ Shores had a goal and two ground balls. Billy Houser made 12 saves in the cage for South.
The Bucks will host Unionville at 3:30 pm Saturday. The Hawks will visit Central Bucks South at 1 pm Saturday.

Central Bucks South 14, Neshaminy 4
Landon Amorim scored four goals and added two assists and two ground balls as Central Bucks South roared out to a 7-0 lead after one quarter and never looked back, earning a 14-4 win over Neshaminy in Thursday’s National Conference game.
Keith Conner also scored four for the Titans, while Alex Fessler and Anthony Depedro each had two goals and two assists. Depedro also went 5-for-9 on face-offs and scooped up seven ground balls. Mark Etgen and Matt Waltrich capped off the scoring with one goal each.
The Titans (6-3 SOL, 9-6 overall) also received strong efforts from Jeramy Collachi (3 CTO, 3 GB), James Vargason (2 CTO, 2 GB) John Henson (2 CTO, 1GB), Nick Depedro (2 CTO, 1 GB), Dylan Garrido (1 CTO, 2 GB), and Blake Bernstein (6-for-12 FO, 4 GB).
Dom Varacallo made 6 saves to earn the win in goal.
South will celebrate Senior Day at 1 pm Saturday when the Titans host Council Rock South. Neshaminy (1-9, 4-9) will visit New Hope-Solebury at 7 pm Wednesday.

Central Bucks East 9, Council Rock North 3
Goalkeeper Ben Snyder recorded 13 total saves and posted a first-half shutout as Central Bucks East downed Council Rock North 9-3 in a key National Conference game on Thursday. Snyder combined with Nolan Gerstberger to earn the victory in the cage.
The Patriots (6-2 National Conference, 9-5 overall) were solid in the face-off circle, with Jackson Jagoda winning 8-of-14 face-offs (as well as 1 CTO and 2 GB) and Rowen Coverdale winning 2-of-2 draws.
David Crespo led the East attack with three goals, one assist, and three ground balls. Michael Smallwood dished out four assists. Thomas Williams scored a hat trick, Mathew Bowen had a goal and one ground ball, Grant Bullard and Adam Volm each scored once, Luke Walters had an assist and one ground ball, and Blake Bishop added one assist.
The Patriots also received strong efforts from Evan Riley (1 GB), David Brown (3 CTO, 4 GB), Tristan Smith (2 CTO, 3 GB), Dean Blackwell (1 CTO, 3 GB), Patrick Coleman (2 CTO, 1 GB), and Ben Bridegum (1 GB).
East will visit Wilson High for a nonleague game at 4 pm today. The Indians (5-3, 8-5) visit Haverford High at 11:30 am Saturday.

Quakertown 13, Cheltenham 3
Mason Borzio scored three goals and assisted on another as Quakertown downed Cheltenham 13-3 in Thursday’s American Conference game.
Jacob Mosser added three goals for the host Panthers, Evan Mooney scored twice and assisted on another, Alex Jalboot scored a pair, and Tyler Scheibenhofer, Max Morris, and Brandon Nguyen each added single goals. Cody Jefferson, David Hammond, Freddie Hipple, Julian Moonlight, and Rowan Painter each recorded one assist.
Quakertown (2-6 American Conference, 5-11 overall) will visit Abington at 6 pm Tuesday. Cheltenham (0-8, 0-8) will host Conwell Egan Catholic at 4 pm Monday.
Upper Dublin 18, Upper Moreland 4
Upper Dublin made sure this one was never in doubt.
Sparked by an offense that saw 14 different players contribute a point, the American Conference frontrunners remained undefeated in league play by scoring nine goals in the first quarter and rolling to an 18-4 victory over Upper Moreland on Thursday.
Cam Osborne scored a team-leading three goals and Kyle Spirt had a five-point game on two goals and three assists for the Cardinals. JD Beamer and Ben Guagliardo each had two goals and an assist for Upper Dublin, which also received contributions from Chris Kohlbrenner and Al Eby (2 G each), Cole Pedroso (1 G, 1 A), Aarush (1 G), Reece Taylor (1 G), Kevin Etkin (1 G), Marco DeBernardo (1 G), Nate Brown (1 A), Jack Williams (1 A), and Cole Rosenthal (1 A).
Jonah Fisher made 5 saves in the cage for the Cardinals, who remain alone atop the American Conference at 9-0 (10-3 overall). The Cardinals will visit Manheim Township at 11 am Saturday. Upper Moreland (4-5, 6-8) will celebrate Senior Night at 7 pm Tuesday against William Tennent.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 13, Hatboro-Horsham 5
On a night dedicated to honoring their high school lacrosse careers, Plymouth Whitemarsh's seniors responded by leading the Colonials to a 13-5 league win over visiting Hatboro-Horsham.
Senior captains Frank Lynch (4CTO, 7GB, 3 for 8 FO) and Ben Backenstose (1G, 5A, 2GB), accompanied by fellow seniors Pat McLaughlin (2CTO, 1GB), Hayden Hailey (1GB), and Finn Ortiz (1GB) helped lead a complete team effort by the Colonials.
In addition to Backenstose's goal and team-leading five assists, Plymouth Whitemarsh received goals from Isaiah Bainbridge (1G, 3CTO, 6GB, 4 for 8 FO), Scott Marguiles (3G, 1CTO), Dylan Ippolito (3G, 1GB), Luke LaViola (1G, 1A, 1CTO, 2GB), Caiden Lesczcynski (1G, 1A, 1CTO, 1GB), Jack Cooper (1G, 1A), and Drew Strohl (2G, 1CTO, 1GB).
The Colonials defense was led by a dominating performance from Lynch and Bainbridge who combined for seven caused turnovers and 13 ground balls. They also took the majority of the faceoffs for the host Colonials. The defensive effort was rounded out by McLaughlin, Hailey, Ortiz, Hayden Domers (3GB), Jackson Budin (2CTO, 4GB), and Connor Rarrick (1CTO, 2GB). Goalie Mason Best had 11 saves.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (10-5, 8-1 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Friday for a non-league game, and Hatboro-Horsham (3-11, 2-6) will travel to Cardinal O’Hara for a non-league game on Monday.

Springfield Twp 12, Abington 6
The Spartans seized early control of this one, opening up a 6-1 lead after one quarter and maintaining that lead the rest of the way.
Jack Vecchione’s four-goal effort led the Spartans. Adam Fluehr also had a four-point game with two goals and two assist. Tommy Coppol had two goals and one assist, and Matt Capoferri added a pair of goals. Contributing one goal each were Jake Sullivan and Sam Pugh.
Carter Weiss was credited with seven saves in the win.
Springfield (11-3, 7-2 SOL) will travel to George School for a non-league game, and Abington (5-12, 5-4) will host Quakertown on Tuesday.
