SOUDERTON 3, POTTSGROVE 2 (25-13, 27-29, 23-25, 25-10, 15-11)

The visiting Indians found themselves trailing 2-1 after dropping back-to-back grueling sets, but they displayed their resiliency, rallying to win the next two for the impressive road victory.
Lauren Vince had a huge game, finishing with 17 kills, two blocks, 11 digs and three aces, and Lily Self also came up big, contributing 11 kills, one block, 13 digs and two aces.
Setter Stella Powers handed out 32 assists and also had one ace, four kills, 12 digs and three blocks. Zoe Folk’s 24 digs led the defense. She also had four assists. Emma Conklin added three aces, three kills and four digs.
Souderton will host Pennridge on Thursday.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0 (25-15, 25-20, 25,17)
The Colonials upped their record to 2-0 with a non-league win over Council Rock North.
Senior Amanda Busk led the Lady Colonials with 14 kills. Key serves and backcourt defense helped in the win with junior Giuliana Storti notching 11 digs and three aces, and junior, Brigid Keenan added 10 digs and three aces.
“It was a good whole team win today,” PW coach Dave Stewart said. “The team looks forward to opening up its league season on Thursday as they travel to Abington.”
Council Rock North be on the road at neighboring rival Council Rock South Thursday.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0
The Cardinals earned a sweep in Tuesday’s non-league match.
Brooke Kinsley led a balanced UD attack with 10 kills to go along with one assist and five digs. Isabelle Driehuis (5 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs, 1 block), Janis Andrulonis (4 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs), Madison Small (4 kills, 1 ace, 4 digs) and Shanley Joyce (4 kills, 1 block) also contributed at the net.
Setter Kaitlyn Small had 27 assists, two kills, three aces, nine digs and one block. Alisa Zeng shared the team lead with nine digs to go along with two aces and two assists.
Upper Dublin will travel to Wissahickon on Thursday, and Central Bucks South will host Central Bucks West Thursday.

QUAKERTOWN 3, WISSAHICKON 0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-13)
The Panthers earned a sweep of the visiting Trojans in a non-league match.
Ellie White (8 kills, 2 aces), Bella Mooney (8 kills, 1 block) and Rachel White (7 kills) led the way at the net. Setter Genevieve Clark handed out 25 assists and also had nine digs. Zoe Hartley (9 digs, 3 aces) and Colleen Gallagher (9 digs, 1 ace) contributed defensively.
Quakertown will be on the road at Upper Perk on Thursday, and Wissahickon will host Upper Dublin Thursday.

RIDLEY 3, BENSALEM 1
Talia DiMichele reached an impressivemilestone in Tuesday’s non-league game, putting her name in the record books when she recorded the 100th ace of her career. She is the first player in Bensalem program history to surpass that milestone.
DiMichele ran a balanced attack with 29 assists and two aces. Dene Howe led the defense with 15 digs and also had a pair of aces. Freshman Maci McKernan (9 kills), senior Kami Pearson (6 kills, 1 block) and junior Kacey Wolanski (6 kills, 1 block) led the Owls’ attack.
Bensalem will host Bensalem in its SOL opener on Thursday (5 pm).

VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2
The Lady Patriots came up short in a marathon five-set match against a well-coached Villa Joseph Marie squad.
The offense was directed by Mia Mettille (18 assists, 8 kills, 5 service aces, 1 dig) and Brynne Vonder Schmalz (20 assists, 5 digs). On the other end of those sets were Regina Mathur (11 kills, 5 digs, 1 service ace), Sophia Schwartz (10 kills), Summer Darling (5 kills) and Ali Minacci (4 kills, 4 blocks, 2 service aces). The defense was led by Arya Haridas (6 digs, 4 assists, 2 service aces) and Carmyn O'Brien (3 digs, 2 service aces).
The Lady Patriots kick-off their conference schedule on Thursday at home against North Penn.

HARRY S TRUMAN 3, SPRINGFIELD TWP 0 (25-13, 25-5, 25-12)
