IN MEMORY OF JOHN DONOHOE
STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
For well over a decade and thanks to the generous support of John Donohoe, Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown has sponsored the SOL’s Players of the Week. Every fall, the Sterling Limo Players of the Week has been a welcome and appreciated fixture on the site, recognizing outstanding performances of SOL football players.
A 1972 graduate of Council Rock High School, John loved sports, and from the web site’s inception when its survival was seriously questioned, John offered support, advice and encouragement. He was always eager to support all athletes in their endeavors. Eighteen years later, the web site is still around, and during those 18 years, John’s support was unwavering.
On March 7, 2024, John, who was only 69, passed away peacefully at home. His passing represented a loss not only to his family but to the entire community as well. The 2024 Sterling Limo Players of the Week will be in memory of our beloved friend John Donohoe. A heartfelt thanks to his son, Johnny, for allowing SuburbanOneSports to continue this recognition. John will be missed but never forgotten.
