Freshman Ellie Miller found the back of the net early in the second half with a goal that turned out to be the game-winner, scoring on a left-footed strike over the keeper.
The win was the third of the season without a loss for the Trojans.

The Titans rebounded from Wednesday’s setback at the hands of Council Rock South, shutting out the Jems to win for the third time in four games. The shutout was the second of the young season for the Titans.

CB South coach Pat Lordi: “The defensive effort by the back line and the midfield only allowed one shot on goal. The offensive pressure was really good, especially in the second half of the game.
“It was a total team effort to earn the win. We are still a work in progress, but a 3-1 start is something the team can be proud of.”

Marisao Bennett scored a pair of goals while Ryleigh White and Angelica Visceglia each added a goal for the Hatters, who opened up a 2-0 halftime lead on their way to Friday’s non-league win.
Coach Chris Artman on the win: “The girls had a good bounce-back effort after the Neshaminy loss. They controlled the play for the entire game, creating numerous chances on goal. Although, we have to do a better job finishing.
--Props: “Sophomore Lexi Cohen, did a great job of controlling the midfield. Four very good goals by Marisao Bennett (2 goals), Ryleigh White and Angelica Visceglia.
“We lost our first team all-league senior center back, Jordyn Harris, to a knee injury versus Neshaminy. Junior Maddy Morino stepped in and played outstanding, winning balls out of the air and distributing passes to our midfield. It was a combined shutout by senior keepers Molly Donaldson and Riley McGuire.”
Up next: Hatboro-Horsham (1-1) will travel to Abington for Wednesday’s SOL opener, and Harry S Truman (0-3) will host Council Rock North in Wednesday’s league opener.

LOWER MORELAND 6, CALVARY CHRISTIAN 0
The Lions picked up their first win of the young season, and they did it in convincing fashion, erupting for three goals in each half.
Shannon Mahon scored back-to-back goals to kick off the scoring, and the Lions never looked back.

Coach Todd Hill on the win: “We had a good collective team effort win against Calvary Christian today. I was pleased that our girls looked to work hard and play good soccer throughout. They looked really sharp, working together on the right side of the field.”

WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 2, NESHAMINY 1
Seven days after the season started, the Redskins already have four games in the books. Their most recent contest Friday- 24 hours after a road trip to Villa Joseph Marie – was at West Chester Rustin and resulted in the Redskins’ first loss.
The two teams were deadlocked 1-1 at halftime. Rustin struck first, but Redskins came right back to even the score just over a minute later, thanks to a Keira Siwinski goal.
Rustin scored the game-winner with 15 minutes remaining in regulation.

Neshaminy will continue its rigorous schedule next week, travelling to St. Hubert’s for a non-league game on Tuesday (3:45 pm) and then opening its league season Wednesday at Bensalem.
