Outlook: “We improved tremendously on our overall record 2022 to 2023, from 4-12-2 to a record of 8-10 lastyear. Year two is going to be tough to improve that much again, so our theme this year is 1 percent Better Every Day! All the players have taken this saying to heart, working very hard in the offseason and every day in practice and games to get a little better. We are building a ‘program’ in Upper Moreland which incorporates our youth, middle school and high school to be a more overall competitive program.
“Our team is built defensively with almost the entire defense back and three athletic goalies. However, we lost 95 percent of our scoring from last year, so we are working on shooting and circle play. We have several freshmen in the varsity lineup, so even though we have a strong senior class, our younger players will improve the more they play.”
