Lower Moreland lost a tough battle to New Hope 0-1. It was a strong defensive showing by both teams. The lone goal did not come until the last 4 minutes of the game. Our defense is young and still learning but they are meshing together nicely. Goalie Jordyn MacPhee had 15 saves. This is her first year playing both goalie and field hockey, she has been my manager for the past two years. The time and dedication she has put into this new venture are starting to show. We have changed things up defensively this year with some new positions and younger players so as the season progresses we are getting better with the defensive stops. Now we need to get the ball in the next with some more offensive pressure. When we get our offense going we will be a tough team to beat. Lower Moreland will play Lansdale Catholic on Friday.
