The Bears stayed tough for their 2nd game in two days to beat Jenkintown! UM’s scoring started with Ella Gould scoring on her birthday on a pass from Izzy Duncan! In the 2nd quarter, off a corner, Kelly Bates passed across to Olivia Torres for Torres’ 5th goal of her freshman season. Midfielders Bridget Hess, Bethany Slagle and Hannah Gardner continued to play tough to keep the ball in the offensive end. In the 2nd half, the Bears continued to force corners and on one Izzy Duncan shot to goal and Charleis Fayall tipped it in for the Bears 3rd score. With 11 minutes left in the game, the Drakes scored off a corner to make it 3-1. Then the Bears put in a last goal to seal the deal! In the circle, MJ Riley made a quick pass to Melissa Torpey for the score to make it 4-1. Izzy Duncan and Kelly Bates dominated on defense for the Bears.
