This past Friday (4/1), Upper Dublin hosted Cheltenham High School in Boys Volleyball. Upper Dublin lost the match in 5 sets (25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-16, 13-15). The boys at Upper Dublin are continuing to improve each match and this game was very evenly matched between the two schools. A couple of errors and a missed serve late in the 5th set swayed the momentum towards Cheltenham and we were not able to recover from those mistakes.

Stats:

Serving – Senior Curtis Carter 11 points (2 aces), Junior Dror Bareket 10 points (1 ace) and Senior Jordan Walden 9 points (3 aces)

Setting - Junior Brian Shim came into the game and gave the team a spark and recorded 25 assists

Hitting – Both outside hitters were in double digit kills this match, Junior Dror Bareket (17 kills) and Senior Jordan Walden (13 kills)

Blocking – Senior Avery Jackson led the team with 5 blocks

Passing – Senior Libero Jon Lee continued to provide accurate passing and led the team with 10 digs.
