New Hope - Solebury Comments
A slow start by the New Hope Solebury Soccer team allowed the more aggressive Lower Moreland soccer team to jump to an early 3-0 lead. Goalie Arya Heble bravely tried her best to keep New Hope Solebury in the game, making several great saves, totaling 12 saves for the game. Unfortunately the New Hope team could not get much offense going today.
New Hope played a low block press against us, packing the defensive half of their field. And their goalie played really well. So scoring required some persistence, patience and a creative attack. I felt that our front line of Emma Liebert, Nikki Sahl, Shannon Mahon, Ruby Levin, and later Quinn Rozanski worked hard at being persistent, patient and creative. And it paid off.
