A nice win today on the road. I felt like we were comfortable during the game and had the majority of the possession, but it took us a while to put the game away.
We created some good openings in the first half but the Wiss keeper had some solid saves and came off the line to deny us a couple of times, eventually we found Mia Cairone in behind and although she was denied, Amanda Gardner was there to follow up and finish for the opening goal.
In the second half it was much the same and we added two more goals on rebounds, Audrey Rogan scored twice after making the effort to follow up.
It was pleasing to score three and keep the clean sheet today. We were also able to continue using our depth which helped as we were missing a couple of girls. Sydney Linus and Addison Martin did a really good job in the middle of the field while Kinsley Smith, Audrey Thomson and Alexa Pikul were solid in the back to limit chances.
