The Wissahickon Lady Trojans traveled to Cheltenham to battle the rapidly improving Lady Panthers. The Trojans vowed to come out with positive energy from the first serve after starting slowly in recent loses to PW and Upper Dublin. Behind the steady and consistent play of Senior Captain Aly Wines the Lady Trojans took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-16. Returning back to the court from injury Senior Rachel French and fellow Senior Sam Boyd provided a spark on defense as the team was missing 2 starters to illness. The Lady Panthers battled valiantly to win the 3rd set 20-25. The Lady Trojans regrouped between sets and came out with renewed focus for the 4th set. Sophomore Elle Coughlin had some great blocks and hits to set the tone. Senior Jadyn Kamara was the hero of the set going on a 13 point serving run to close out the set 25-10. Up next for the Trojans this Friday is an out of conference match versus Radnor.
