2nd half

6:44 Bailey Kasner goal Lia Jablonowski assist
1:44 Lia Jablonowski goal unassisted
After a difficult crossover week the team rebounded and came up with a win against an improved Upper Moreland team. We struck first with a goal by Sofia Jakimoski who has been clutch for us all season. Upper Moreland tied it late in the first half on a direct kick. Going into the second half the team knew they had to step up their play as we did not create many chances. Our defense held strong as they have for us all season and once we settled in we were able to score.

We came out ready and strong--we were able to pressure William Tennent and forced them to make some errors. After they scored, we were able to continue to settle in and get into our rhythm. Lizzie Walker was able to put a direct kick in from about 40 yards out. Walker has incredible strength and precision with her free kicks. It was a great finish and exactly what we needed going into half time. The start of the second half we knew the Tennent would come out strong, we were able to match them fairly well. We had a few mistakes in the second half that led to William Tennent getting the lead, and holding it. We need to continue learning from games like today, and we need to be better tomorrow.
