Coach comments:
This was a total team effort resulting in us controlling the game, especially the first half. Souderton is always a competitive, high intensity game. Their players are competitive and aggressive with solid basic skills and exceptional circle defense. The first time we played Souderton this season, we had a 2-0 lead going into the half and they rallied and forced overtime. We are a much more developed team then we were at that early stage in the season, but we remembered that and never let up. They had a more threatening second half for sure; however, we had solid performances from our veterans like Aida, Eve, Kendra and Heidi. And simple, consistent high-level play from our more novice Varsity players like Zola Morelli, Margot Trask, Claire Demmer, and Lucy Smith. I am so proud of this team and, more important, is their pride in themselves and total team spirit.
