Council Rock South Comments
This was a tough game because our goals we score never reflect how good we play in a game. We played great defense and we got the ball in their circle multiple times. Sarah and Maria Freeman in the middle of the field had a spectacular game with Elise Lindros tying the game to send us into OT. Taylor Hume had nice saves to keep us in the game and Mia Schink had great carries down the sidelines. Even playing down a girl in OT we were able to regroup but at the end of the day we have to capitalize more on the chances we get in front of the cage in regular time.

It was a great win from the girls. We have had an emphasis on playing confidently and backing each other up and taking risks. They did a great job. Cara was a rock in cage. Addie, Julia and Taylor did a great job on defense kailyn Sierra Megan and Izzy did a great job distributing the ball in the midfield and Brynn Kate and Morgan did a great job on the forward line. South is always good competition. It is always a battle. We knew we had to come out and play 60 minutes of hockey and we did that. I’m so proud of the girls.
