The Pennridge Rams unfortunately dropped a 4-0 decision today to North Penn in their home opener at B. Earl Druckenmiller Park. The Rams could only garner two hits in 7 innings. Emily Hayhew took the lose for Pennridge, scattering 6 hits, with 10 strikeouts and no walks. Emily Hofmann had a double for the Rams and the only other hit came off the bat of Alicia Phillips.



North Penn got all they would need in the top of the second when Stephanie Kulp lead off with a single, stole second and then Vicky Tumasz drove in kulp on a 2 out single. In the third, Jess Mower ripped a 2 out single and the Knights went up 3-0 on a Michelle Holweger two run home run over the left field fence.



Pennridge's record now stands at 3-2(0-2 in the league).
