Last night Upper Dublin travelled to Quakertown for a boys volleyball match. We lost the match in straight sets (10-25, 23-25, 23-25). We came out very flat in the first set and didn’t play our best volleyball but did seem to improve as the night went on. Our team continues to struggle with falling behind and continually playing catch up to our opponents. Last night we struggled to get any momentum and Quakertown was able to take advantage of that and keep the pressure on us all match.

Serving – Junior Brian Day led with 2 aces and 4 points off serve

Setting – Senior Dave An had 18 assists

Hitting – Senior Jordan Walden led the team with 9 kills and Senior Avery Jackson had 8 kills

Blocking – Our middles had a good night with Senior Avery Jackson having 7 blocks and Senior Curtis Carter with 6 blocks

Passing – Junior Jino Park and Senior Jordan Walden helped to solidify the passing game with accurate passes off serve and with timely digs, and Senior setter Dave An was able to keep many rallies alive recording 8 digs in the match.
