A tough ending to our season against a very well organized and talented DW team. Although we were down early , and 3-0 at half time I thought our girls fought back in the second half and made adjustments to make it a more competitive game, we were unlucky to hit the crossbar and with a couple of other chances too.
Tonight I thought, Isabella Lanza, Kinsley Smith and especially Amanda Gardner played particularly well.
Our senior group leaves us with some incredible memories on and off the field, they have been very successful for our program in their play and the culture they have helped create in their time with us. More importantly they are a great group of girls, and we look forward to seeing what they all do next. I hope that the younger players have learnt from them and use their experiences to continue to help us grow the program and expand on that culture.
