The Golden Bears came out in the opener and got a very team oriented win. Ten girls scored for Upper Moreland in the contest. The Golden Bears were led by Mikel Lancit's 24 points, Lianna Adames scored 13 points and had 10 assists, and Marie Meyers also hit double figures with 11 points. Defensively the team played a very exceptionally well, limiting Truman to many one and done trips down the floor. All in all it was a great start to the season.

Head Coach Josh Adelman also recorded his 150th win as a Head Varsity Basketball Coach.
