PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 7, ABINGTON 0
Julian Lucks was perfect in goal, turning away all 14 shots he faced in the shutout. Blake Ambler (1g,2a) and Cooper Ganze (3a) each had three point games to lead the attack.
Jarrett Olenginski scored with an assist from John Zawslak just over three minutes into the opening period, and that goal stood as the game-winner. Ambler added a goal with assists from Morgan Hulitt and Kanze to spot the Colonials a 2-0 lead after one period.
In the second period, Daniel Molony (Ryan Campbell/Tyler Walker assists) and Charles Spause (Kanze assist) both scored a goal to give the Colonials a 4-0 advantage.
Campbell, Matthew Bracchi and Daniel Guller each scored a goal in the third period.
PW held a 49-14 advantage in shots. Abington’s Matthew Evangelist recorded 42 saves in a solid outing in goal.

Thursday, Dec. 5
WISSAHICKON 7, HATBORO-HORSHAM 6 (OT)
Jack Raebiger turned a pass from Aiden Brooks into a goal with 4:09 remaining in overtime, propelling the Trojans to the dramatic win in a classic battle with the Hatters.
Raebiger’s four-point game – two goals and two assists – led the Trojans’ attack.
Early on, the Hatters took a 1-0 lead when Vincent Graziani (Darius Graziani assist) scored midway through the first period.
Raebiger and Evan McCutcheon scored back-to-back goals to give the Trojans a 2-1 lead, but Victor Wilkins scored the equalizer just over a minute later. Logan Honeycutt (John Kuffner assist) scored the go-ahead goal for the Trojans.
Benjamin Raebiger turned an assist from Jack into a power play goal just over two minutes into the third period to put the Trojans on top 4-2. That lead turned out to be anything but secure as Reid Rochestie and Vincent Graziani each scored a goal to even the score 4-4.
Benjamin Raebiger and the Hatters’ Aiden North exchanged goals, and it was a 5-5 game with 1:33 remaining.
Both teams scored a goal in the final minute of the period. Joseph Gambino IV turned a pass from Jack Raebiger into a goal with 47 seconds remaining. Nathan Nemchinov evened the score at the buzzer, using assists from Aiden North and Darius Graziani.
Fletcher Lynch recorded the win in goal, turning away 28 shots and negating a 35-25 Hatters’ advantage in shots.
With the win, the Trojans improved to 3-1.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 8, SOUDERTON 2
Jordan Sarne scored one goal and assisted on three others. His four-point game led the conference-leading Golden Hawks to their sixth win in as many games.
The Indians kept it close for a while. After Jake Mauer scored with a Peter Pereborow assist for the Hawks, Matthew Cross answered for the Indians, using a Julia Kaminsky assist. Jack Ralston (Jackson Mosley assist) sent the Hawks into the second period with a 2-1 advantage.
Nicholas Smith opened the second period with a goal that evened the score, using assists from Patrick Callahan and Kaminsky. Jeremy Rayher scored the go-ahead goal with assists from Jake Weiner and Jordan Sarne. That goal turned out to be the game-winner.
Back-to-back power play goals by Rayher sent the Hawks into the third period with a 5-2 lead.
In the third period, Sarne scored a shorthanded goal, and then it was Jake Weiner connecting on a power play goal. Mosley’s shorthanded goal with 7:35 remaining closed out the scoring.
Rock South held a 40-33 advantage in shots. Trey Prozzillo, who earned the win, and Xavier Prozorov shared time in goal, turning away 31 shots.

Jacob Winton did it again, notching his third shutout in six games this season and third in the last four games. He turned away all 16 shots he faced.
Nicholas Young (Shane Dachowski/Dhilan Howard assists) scored a goal that stood as the game-winner with 6:50 remaining in the first period. Just over a minute later Dachowski turned a James Rush pass into a shorthanded goal and a 2-0 Ram lead.
Dachowski scored the only goal of the second period, using a Rush assist.
In the third period, Pennridge added three more goals – one from Young and two from Ryan Burke – for the 6-0 final. James Embert and Salvatore Daquino assisted on the first and Joshua Kelly assisted on the second.
The Rams held a 28-16 advantage in shots.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 17, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2
Fourteen players contributed scoring for the Titans, who improved to 6-1 on the SHSHL season. Logan Hood and Sean Cutter’s five-point games led the Titans. Both players contributed two goals and one assist.
Dominic Gibson (3g, 1a), Jacob Kvecher (3g,1a) and Jamison Crouch (2g, 2a) each had four-point games.
Joseph Slobdrian scored his first of three goals two minutes into the game, igniting a 7-0 South tear to open the game. Kvecher followed with his first of two goals in the period, and Cutter also had a pair. Gibson and Braxton Lord each also had a goal in the early run.
Ivan Bondra and Maxwell Segal scored back-to-back goals for the Indians to make it a 7-2 game, but the Titans got those back, thanks to a goal from both Gibson and Kvecher to put the Titans on top 9-2 after one period.
The Titans scored eight unanswered goals in the second period to close out the game.
South held a lopsided 40-7 advantage in shots.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4, SPRINGFIELD 2

The Colonials kept their perfect record in SHSHL play with their fourth straight win, but Springfield gave them all they could handle in a tightly contested battle.
Owen Quinn’s unassisted goal gave Springfield an early 1-0 lead, but Daniel Guller answered for the Colonials, and it was a 1-1 game after one period.
Springfield held a 13-11 advantage in shots in the second period, but it was the Colonials scoring a pair – one each from Daniel Guller (Luke Wynne/John Zawislak assists) and Luke Smith (Daniel Guller/Morgan Hulitt assists).
PW’s Ryan Campbell turned a pass from Cooper Kanze into a goal and a 4-1 PW lead before Quinn scored his second goal for the 4-2 final.
PW’s Julian Lucks turned away 31 shots in a winning effort. Springfield’s Liam Baskin was credited with 33 saves.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 10, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 6
The Patriots erupted for five unanswered goals in the second period, erasing a one-goal deficit and sending East into the final quarter with an 8-4 lead on its way to the big win.
Twelve players contributed to the scoring for the Patriots, who were led by the three-assist effort of Cole Kleindienst.
The two teams spent the first half exchanging goals. Daniel Maglathlin scored just over two minutes into the game, and two minutes later Alex Wilson answered with a goal for East. Jackson Accardi’s unassisted goal gave the Indians a 2-1 lead but not for long.
Benjamin Dempsey turned a pass from Evan Asimakopoulos into the equalizer before Accardi and Ivan Bondra scored back-to-back goals for a 4-2 Rock North advantage. Alex Wilson’s goal in the closing seconds made it a 4-3 game heading into the second period.
East’s 5-0 second-period tear included single goals from Samuel Gottesman, Jack Kochan, Morris Ostrobrod, Jaden Young and Joseph Walter.
Rock North would get no closer than three goals the rest of the way.

Pennridge opened up a 3-0 lead after one period and never looked back on its way to the convincing win.
James Rush jumpstarted the Rams with back-to-back goals, and then it was Dhilan Howard finding the net.
Rush completed his hat trick with a goal 30 seconds into the second period. Anthony Dowd interrupted Pennridge’s run, but goals by Justin Dinsmore and Nolan Shaw gave the Rams a 6-1 lead heading into the third period.
With the win, the Rams upped their record to 5-1 in SHSHL play.

NORTH PENN 7, PENNSBURY 1
The Knights and Falcons found themselves locked in quite a battle.
Until, that is, the third period when the Knights blew the game wide open, turning a 1-1 tie into a 7-1 win with a 6-0 outburst.
In the opening period, each team scored a goal. Gabriel Dunn turned a Cole Pluck assist into a goal for the Knights, and Pennsbury’s Shane Gleisner scored with an assist from Christopher Sarver.
That 1-1 score stood until the third period.
Nolan Shingle (Pluck assist) scored a goal that would stand as the game-winner 62 seconds into the period. Less than a minute later Samuel Norton scored, and a goal by Pluck with 11:45 remaining put the Knights on top 4-0. Danial Cabrales, Declan Willison and Pluck each added a goal.
Pluck’s five-point game (2g,3a) led the Knights, who also received a goal and three assists from Shingle.
The Knights held a 36-23 advantage in shots. North Penn’s Andrew Norton earned the win in goal, turning away 22 of 23 shots he faced.
